傳統美食動手吃 Traditional Dishes From Hue
跟大家介紹特別的萍餅跟甘蔗蝦!聽說兩種都是順化著名的傳統美食,但我在胡志明就吃到了好吃的。
萍餅是由白米磨成粉後加水調成粉漿,蒸成糕狀,上頭撒上蝦肉、蔥花跟炸豬皮。吃的時候先用淋上一匙清爽的透明酸辣醬,再用湯匙從底部挖起,一口吃掉。
→口感比碗粿再更Q彈有勁,讓人一碟接一碟。
甘蔗蝦則是蝦泥裹上甘蔗段去炸。吃的時候必須DIY,先將水抹上米紙,自選鋪上九層塔、薄荷葉、黃瓜片、楊桃片,與甘蔗蝦一起包裹起來,再沾沙嗲醬吃。
→儘管很想大口吃,但因為中間卡著不能食用的甘蔗段,有種意猶未盡的美味感。

Introduce two traditional Vietnamese dish: Bánh bèo (water fern cake) and Chạo tôm(sugar cane shrimp). Both dishes comes from the Huế region of central Vietnam.
A bánh bèo is a small steamed rice cake, white in color and typically features a dimple in the center, which is filled with chopped shrimp, scallions, and fried pork skin.
Chạo tôm consists of shrimp paste grilled on a sugar cane stick. It needs do-it-yourself process to make it a roll together with Asian basil, mint leaves and cucumber slices on a rice paper and dip in satay sauce.
